Helpful guidelines for your slides

We’re delighted that you’ll be part of the FUTURE 2026 schedule. We require that all presenters use the FUTURE presentation template to develop their slides.

Send to Rachel Larsen by Thursday, June 11, for review.

  • Slide 1*–Opening slide: first slide of all presentations
  • Slide 2–Title slide: add your workshop title and presenter name(s)
  • Slide 3–Section slide: use as needed for section breaks
  • Slide 4–Content slide: use for content and duplicate as needed; make sure text is set to Arial
  • Slide 5–Questions: update email and website
  • Slide 6*–Evaluations: reminder for attendees to fill out the mobile app evaluation
  • Slide 7*–Thank you: final slide of all presentations

*Slide should not be edited.

Time-saving tips on how to transfer a current slide deck to the 2026 template:

  1. Open the PowerPoint file with your existing slides.
  2. In the thumbnail pane on the left side of the screen, hold Ctrl as you click the individual content slides you want to copy to the new template.
  3. With the slides highlighted, right-click any slide and select Copy.
  4. Open the 2026 FUTURE PowerPoint template and ensure the presentation is set to Widescreen/16:9 (on the Design menu under Slide Size).
  5. Right-click the thumbnail pane below Slide 4, under Paste Options, select Use Destination Theme.
  6. The slides will be copied into the new template and converted to the 2026 design. Review all slides for potential formatting issues as text and images may have shifted during the transfer.
  7. Add your workshop title and presenter name(s) to the title slide. Please keep Slides 6 and 7 to close out your presentation and remind attendees to complete the session evaluation in the mobile app.
