Over the past few months, AFP has added several new sections to the “Clinical Quiz.” In addition to the clinical review articles, AFP's quiz now covers the following recently introduced departments: “Cochrane for Clinicians”; “BMJ Clinical Evidence”; recommendations from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF); and “Putting Prevention into Practice,” a series of clinical scenarios and case reports based on the USPSTF recommendations.

The “Clinical Quiz” has long been one of the best-read departments in AFP: it's a great way to review highlights from an issue and earn continuing medical education (CME) credit. Survey data show that readers consistently rank AFP's quiz among the top four most valuable departments. Data collected by our reader services department have shown steady increases from year to year in the number of “Clinical Quizzes” submitted for credit. Last year, AFP processed more than 300,000 answer cards returned via mail and 45,000 quizzes submitted online; that's more than a 10 percent increase over the previous year in the number of cards submitted and a 70 percent increase in the number of online submissions for CME credit. Readers who completed every quiz had the opportunity to earn 78 hours of Prescribed credit for last year's quizzes (cards can still be submitted up to one year past the original publication date of the issue).

Since we know you have been working hard on our quizzes and you've gotten so good at them, we thought we'd challenge you with some tougher questions—but don't worry, it's just for fun. Here are some questions about AFP you might not have been able to answer (until now):
