The AAFP’s partners turn mission into action through research, advocacy and philanthropy.

Primary care and patient advocacy are at the heart of the AAFP’s mission. Thanks to the work of our affiliated organizations, we’re able to turn that mission into meaningful action. The AAFP Foundation and The Robert Graham Center are two key partners helping bring our values to life.

The AAFP Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Its mission is to shape the future of family medicine by advancing humanitarian, scientific and educational initiatives that improve health for all.

Through partnerships with physicians, corporations and individuals, the Foundation promotes a shared vision for the future of primary care. Donations, made directly or through voluntary contributions on AAFP dues statements, fuel this important work.

As an AAFP member, you deserve to see how your support makes a difference. That’s why the Foundation provides regular updates on its programs, grant opportunities, impact stories and ways to get involved.
