The American Family Physician (AFP) photo contest encourages students and residents to share their stories through photographs about how they use the AFP journal. Winning photos were selected based on creativity, originality, and clarity in demonstrating how they learned from the journal.
We are pleased to announce this year's winners:

The award recipients will be announced this month at the AAFP 2023 National Conference in Kansas City, Mo. The winning photos are being shared in this issue of the journal, in the digital versions of AFP, and through the AFP social media channels. Winners received their choice of a $175 gift card or registration to the AAFP 2023 National Conference, and a one-year print subscription to AFP. Photo submissions receiving honorable mention are featured on the AFP web site and are posted to the AFP social media channels.
