Yogesh Shah, MD, MPH, FAAFP

Dr. Shah is a dedicated dementia care specialist with extensive experience in early detection and brain health. He completed his Geriatric Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and earned a Master of Public Health from Des Moines University. Currently, he serves as Medical Director of Broadlawns Memory Clinic and the GUIDE program, Site Principal Investigator for the University of Iowa’s Geriatric Workforce Empowerment Program, and Board Member of the Iowa Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Shah is passionate about promoting brain health for all and advancing early dementia detection, particularly in underserved communities.
