  1. Analyze historical approaches to global engagement in health, and identify the potential pitfalls of these approaches.

  2. Recognize the ways in which policy changes and current global conflicts have disrupted existing models of global health and global collaboration.

  3. Develop new patterns of global engagement in family medicine through novel partnership approaches and participation in the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA).

CME credit statement

The AAFP has reviewed Cultivating a Globalist Approach to Health in a Conflicted World On Demand and deemed it acceptable for up to 1.00 Enduring AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 06/08/2026 to 11/21/2027. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.
