Correction

Incorrect complication listed. In “Postoperative Management After Metabolic Surgery: Role of the Family Physician” (May 2026, p. 469), Table 1 incorrectly listed anastomotic leak as a complication of sleeve gastrectomy. Anastomotic leak was correctly described elsewhere in the table as a complication of Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. The complications of sleeve gastrectomy should have included staple line dehiscence, with a prevalence of 1% to 3%. The online version of the article has been corrected.
