Learning Objectives
Identify the risks and appropriately counsel patients about non-reproductive medical problems that may manifest differently or more frequently in women, such as heart disease, anxiety/depression and intimate partner violence.
Differentiate specific issues, disease processes, and treatments based on ethnicity, gender, genetics and social determinants of health.
Develop evidence-based individualized examination and wellness plans, based on the patient's age and risk factors.
