Gambling Disorder: Diagnosis and Treatment

Gambling disorder is often underdiagnosed. Case-finding using a direct question about gambling in patients at increased risk is recommended. Pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and self-help groups, such as Gamblers Anonymous, may help reduce gambling severity.
