Here's how you can recognize family physicians who go above and beyond in educating others.

All of us in the family medicine community, from first-year students to physicians with decades of experience, stand on the shoulders of our teachers.

The AAFP recognizes this by advocating for family medicine training at all stages of medical education, supporting numerous AAFP Foundation education initiatives and offering an extensive suite of CME.

The AAFP also understands the importance of recognition for those who have devoted their careers to pushing family medicine education forward. Here’s how to nominate a deserving peer for one of the AAFP’s awards for teachers of family medicine.
