AAFP transitional member dues
If you're between graduation and finding a residency, here's how to keep your AAFP membership benefits flowing.
A transitional membership is for students who have graduated from allopathic or osteopathic medical schools but haven’t yet matched into residency. It keeps you connected with professional networks and resources as you move from medical school to your family medicine residency.
Transitional members pay $175 AAFP dues annually, plus any chapter dues. If you’re a new applicant to the AAFP, your cost is prorated based on the month you join. If you apply in November and December, you’ll pay a prorated portion for the current year, plus the following year’s dues paid in full.
