This web page will have the most up-to-date documents. Refer to this web page for each course that you sponsor and refrain from using documents from past courses. Using only the most updated documents ensures AAFP’s compliance with their accrediting organizations.
In the event of an audit, sponsors are to keep all completed course documents on file for two years after the live course date. Do not email any documents to the AAFP unless requested.
Only learners should access the BLSO online course 3rd edition.
Approved instructors access the online ALSO instructor renewal course to find a copy of the BLSO manual 3rd edition .PDF and non-approved instructors may purchase the BLSO manual 3rd edition .PDF from the online product order page. Instructors should review the new curriculum prior to their next live course teaching appointment or their expiration date, whichever happens first.

How to use the BLSO teaching materials
Instructions: Please do not forward this course materials web page link to instructors—they do not have access. Sponsors must distribute the teaching materials to instructors. Teaching materials are divided by chapter with corresponding materials, including supporting documents that should be used at each workstation. Please note that each learner has already viewed the lectures in the online course and has the option to access and print the slide sets for each topic, at their discretion.
